Imani Oakley (she/her) is Vice President and a results-driven strategy expert specializing in campaigns, politics, organizing, content, and storytelling. She believes in empowering marginalized communities in ways that give them the skills to establish a sense of self-determination and liberation.

With more than 10 years of accomplishments in government, campaigns, media, and political organizing, Imani has developed an exceptional track record of leading high-pressure, multi-level, organizational strategy and execution. In the past, Imani worked for the US Senate, the New Jersey Legislature, Movement School, and in progressive news media spaces. Throughout her time in the movement, Imani has lent her expertise to campaigns to legalize cannabis in NJ and DC as well as pro-democracy campaigns to fix New Jersey’s unconstitutional ballot design. She earned her BS and JD from Howard University and her MA from NYU.
