National Political Operative Kevin Harris Joins Mosaic Communications as VP

Harris Further Strengthens The Mosaic Team, Matching Expertise With Today’s Electorate

Kevin Harris is the latest addition to the Mosaic Communications team, joining the firm launched by Andrea “Andi” Pringle and Julie Norton last month. Mosaic Communications is a new woman/LGBTQ-owned, full-service strategic and media consulting firm. The boutique agency has been built around principles of diversity, equity and inclusion to better reflect today’s Democratic Party, with the staff solely comprised of members of the BIPOC or LGBTQIA communities. These seasoned campaign and media professionals believe that conventional Washington Beltway wisdom has not kept pace with the changing nature of the electorate.

“We are thrilled to add Kevin Harris to our roster of exceptional talent, along with Chris Smith and Roosevelt Holmes. The Mosaic team now offers truly unparalleled expertise at the intersection of political communications and today’s increasingly diverse electorate. If candidates are serious about winning, they will need a clear plan for winning over Black and Brown voters and mobilizing them to vote. That is at the heart of what Mosaic delivers,” said Andi Pringle.

Added Norton, “Kevin Harris brings a significant record of success to Mosaic. As the Chief of Staff to the Biden for President Georgia campaign, he helped engineer the first Democratic victory in 28 years in this rapidly changing state. Kevin knows how to bring these same strategies to other states and regions where voters of color are the most important component of the Democratic base.”

About Mosaic

The Mosaic team includes proven professionals who have been in the trenches and on the streets working for progressive candidates and causes for years. Founding Partner Andi Pringle currently advises March On as Political & Strategic Campaigns Director and has held senior positions including Deputy Campaign Manager for Howard Dean’s presidential campaign, Senior Advisor for Mark Warner’s Forward Together PAC and Richardson For President.

Mosaic’s other Founding Partner, Julie Norton, is a veteran media consultant and award-winning admaker, having worked for nearly two decades at media firms SKDKnickerbocker and most recently as a partner at Trippi, Norton, Rossmeissl (TNR) Campaigns, which she recently left to launch Mosaic with Pringle. Last year, Norton collaborated with Congresswoman Cori Bush’s campaign team to produce “Our Time,” which contributed to Congresswoman Bush’s victory over a twenty-year incumbent and instantly became one of Norton’s proudest career moments.

The firm also boasts two rising stars in Democratic politics in Chris Smith and Roosevelt Holmes, who will both serve as Vice Presidents at Mosaic.

Chris Smith has worked on dozens of local, state and national campaigns across all 50 states and US Territories as a manager, senior advisor and general consultant, including serving as deputy campaign manager for Stacey Abrams for Governor and Senior Advisor for Field Strategy for Andrew Gillum for Governor during their primaries, as well as serving as deputy national field director for Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders’ 2016 Presidential bid.

Roosevelt Holmes has been a political strategist advising campaigns in Florida and across the South. Most recently, Roosevelt served on the Biden-Harris campaign as the Southern Region Coalitions director. An Influence magazine “rising star,”  the Florida native has served in various senior roles for the Florida Democratic Party, including Senior Advisor, and was also Political Director for gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum.

Mosiac’s committment to diversity and inclusion also extends to our strategic partnerships, working in collaboration with women, gender non-conforming, and BIPOC-led firms and professionals in the creative, production and media buying spaces.
